PATNA: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the Class 10 (Matric) Annual Examination results today, March 29, 2026. The results were announced in a press conference by BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore and the state Education Minister.
This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 81.79%, maintaining the board’s streak of being the first in the country to declare results. To ensure students can access their scores without delays caused by heavy traffic on official government servers, the Times of India (TOI) result portal is hosting a direct link for scorecards.
How to Check Bihar Board 10th Result on TOI Portal
Students can avoid the rush on official websites by following these simple steps on the TOI platform:
Visit the Portal: Go to the official Times of India Education Results page.
Select the Exam: Look for the link titled “Bihar Board Class 10 Result 2026” and click on it.
Enter Credentials: Input your Roll Code and Roll Number exactly as mentioned on your 2026 admit card.
Submit: Click the “Submit” or “View Result” button.
Save your Scorecard: Your subject-wise marks and division will appear on the screen. Download the digital marksheet or take a printout for immediate reference.
Performance Highlights & Toppers
The 2026 results showcase a stellar performance by students across the state, with girls notably outperforming boys in overall pass numbers.
Joint Toppers: Pushpanjali Kumari (Jamui) and Sabreen Praween (Vaishali) have secured the Rank 1 position jointly, scoring a massive 492 out of 500 (98.4%).
Total Passed: Out of approximately 15.12 lakh students who appeared, over 12.35 lakh students successfully cleared the examination.

First Division: 4,43,723 students
Second Division: 4,75,511 students
Third Division: 3,03,103 students

SMS Service: Type BIHAR10 <Roll Number> and send it to 56263.
DigiLocker: Log in to your DigiLocker account, select ‘Bihar School Examination Board,’ and enter your details to fetch your digital certificate.
Note to Students: The online result is a provisional marksheet. The original certificates and hard-copy marksheets will be distributed by respective schools in the coming weeks. For those unsatisfied with their scores, the scrutiny application process is scheduled to begin on April 1, 2026.
