Bengaluru: Marking a significant political transition in Karnataka, D.K. Shivakumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister in a grand ceremony attended by senior leaders, party workers, and dignitaries. Shortly after assuming office, Shivakumar held his maiden press briefing, where he outlined his government’s immediate priorities and introduced a series of welfare initiatives aimed at the state’s youth under the banner of “Yuva Yuga.”
Positioning the new administration as forward-looking and youth-driven, the Chief Minister emphasized employment generation, skill development, and entrepreneurship as key pillars of his governance model.
