Kathmandu: A significant diplomatic message emerged from the NDTV World’s “Anviksha: Ideas Across Borders” dialogue in Nepal’s capital, where senior leaders, policymakers, and experts from India and Nepal gathered to discuss the evolving dynamics between the two neighbouring nations. The highlight of the event came when Nepal’s Finance Minister, Dr Swarnim Wagle, indicated that Prime Minister Balen Shah’s first official foreign visit is expected to be to India—an announcement seen as a strong signal of Kathmandu’s intent to prioritise its relationship with New Delhi.
