Vijay Deverakonda has publicly cheered on Rashmika Mandanna’s transformation in her upcoming Telugu action thriller, Mysaa. Following the reveal of a striking new movie poster, Deverakonda took to his Instagram Story to express his excitement, writing, “Violent pilla. May the gods be with you 🙂 You will make all your dearest fans proud again with this one”.
The latest poster for Mysaa features a blood-stained, shackled Mandanna wielding a spear on a battlefield—a drastic departure from her previous roles. Mandanna herself described the project’s raw intensity, sharing the poster with the caption: “The rage! The pain! The heartache! The grief! The grit! The courage! The power and the storm you don’t anticipate coming – That’s Mysaa!”
Directed by Rawindra Pulle, Mysaa is an emotional action thriller set against a tribal backdrop where Mandanna portrays a Gond tribal woman. Touted as India’s first female-led pan-India action film, the project required immense physical endurance. The demanding shoots—which included India’s first female-led underwater fight sequence—recently resulted in a severe hip tendon detachment for the actress, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
Produced by UnFormula Films with music by Jakes Bejoy, the film features an ensemble cast including Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, and Easwari Rao. Mysaa is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
