New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 for the BE/BTech (Paper 1) session. Candidates who appeared for the highly competitive engineering entrance exam can now check and download their scorecards through the official portal.
The examination, conducted across multiple cities in India and abroad, witnessed lakhs of aspirants competing for admission into premier engineering institutes including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other centrally funded technical institutions.
How to Download the JEE Main 2026 Scorecard
Students can access their results by following these steps:
Visit the official NTA JEE Main website
Click on the “JEE Main 2026 Session Result – Paper 1” link
Enter application number and date of birth/password
Submit the details to view the scorecard
Download and print the result for future use
The scorecard contains important details such as subject-wise percentile, total percentile score, All India Rank (AIR), and qualification status for JEE Advanced 2026 eligibility.
Cut-Off and Qualification
Along with the results, NTA has also released the category-wise cut-off percentile required to qualify for JEE Advanced. Only candidates meeting the prescribed cutoff will be eligible to register for the next stage of the admission process.

Qualified candidates can now prepare for the JEE Advanced 2026 examination, which serves as the gateway to admission in the IITs. Meanwhile, others may participate in JoSAA counselling for seats in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs based on their JEE Main ranks.
Students are advised to verify all personal details mentioned on the scorecard and keep multiple copies for counselling and admission procedures.
