January 9, 2026 — The much-anticipated Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab kicked off its theatrical run on a promising note on Friday, drawing solid crowds across India and overseas on its first day. Despite mixed reactions from audiences and critics, early trade estimates suggest the film has made a significant impact at the box office.
Industry trackers report that The Raja Saab collected approximately ₹23 crore on its opening day, indicating a strong start for the horror-comedy in its first 24 hours of release. The film’s performance helped it overtake Dhurandhar, which had dominated screens for the past several weeks.
