In response to the devastating flash floods that have struck Nepal, India has stepped up its humanitarian assistance, dispatching a fresh consignment of relief materials along with a specialized rescue team. The latest tranche of aid includes over five tonnes of essential medicines and an 11-member team of trained rescue personnel, aimed at supporting ongoing relief and recovery operations in the flood-hit regions.
The floods, triggered by intense monsoon rains, have caused widespread destruction across several districts in Nepal.
