New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Nabin has announced his new organisational team, bringing several prominent leaders back into key party roles while dropping some familiar faces.
Former Union minister Smriti Irani and senior BJP strategist Ram Madhav are among the notable names making a comeback in the revamped organisation. Their return is being viewed as a significant move as the party seeks to strengthen its organisational structure and political outreach.
Irani, a prominent BJP leader and former Union minister, has remained an influential voice within the party despite being away from some of its central organisational responsibilities. Her inclusion is expected to add political experience and visibility to the new team.
Ram Madhav, who has previously played an important role in the BJP’s national organisation and handled several politically significant assignments, has also returned to the party’s organisational setup. His experience in strategy, diplomacy and political coordination could prove valuable to the BJP.
Meanwhile, BJP IT department head Amit Malviya has been left out of the new team. Malviya has been one of the party’s most prominent digital campaigners, particularly on social media, where he has frequently led the BJP’s response to opposition attacks and promoted the party’s political messaging.
The changes indicate an effort by Nitin Nabin to shape the organisation according to his priorities and prepare the party for upcoming political challenges. The new team combines experienced leaders with organisational figures, reflecting an attempt to balance continuity with a fresh approach.
The appointments are also expected to influence the BJP’s communication, election strategy and coordination between its central leadership and state units. With Smriti Irani and Ram Madhav returning to prominent organisational roles, the reshuffle is likely to attract considerable political attention in the coming days.
Nitin Nabin’s new team marks an important step in his tenure as BJP president and could play a crucial role in determining the party’s organisational and political strategy ahead of the next electoral battles.
