New Delhi: The founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, Dipke, on Sunday asserted that protests against the current education policies will continue unabated until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan steps down from his position.
Addressing a gathering of supporters at a demonstration site, Dipke accused the government of failing to address key concerns related to the education system, including alleged irregularities and lack of transparency. He claimed that students and youth across the country have been adversely affected by recent decisions, prompting widespread dissatisfaction.
“The agitation will not stop until accountability is fixed. The minister must resign and take responsibility,” Dipke said, while urging more people to join the movement.
The protests, which began earlier this week, have seen participation from various student groups and activists. Demonstrators have been raising slogans, holding placards, and demanding reforms alongside the minister’s resignation.
Meanwhile, government sources have dismissed the allegations as politically motivated, stating that reforms are being implemented in the best interest of students. No official response has been issued by the Education Minister regarding the demand for resignation.
Security has been tightened in key protest areas to maintain law and order. Authorities have urged protestors to remain peaceful and follow guidelines.
As tensions continue to simmer, all eyes are on how the situation unfolds and whether the ongoing protests will escalate further in the coming days.
