DUBAI — The United Arab Emirates reported a significant escalation in regional hostilities on Monday, announcing that its air defense systems intercepted multiple cruise missiles and drones launched from Iran. This marks the most serious breach of the fragile ceasefire established in early April between Tehran and U.S.-allied forces.
